HCI College Goes Above and Beyond for Online Students with SARA
In the early days of online colleges and universities, there was little regulation. This lead to many students going through and paying for less than adequate educations.
Soon, individual states began to set their own regulations for online education, but even this solution was plagued by issues. For one, it made enrolling in an online school based out of another state difficult for students. More importantly, students who did take these courses would have a hard time getting their accreditation recognized by other institutions. Transferring credits or continuing higher education at another location could require several phone calls across the country. NC-SARA came in to change that.
NC-SARA is the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement. Instead of having to deal with fifty-four regulatory bodies as in the past, institutions can be approved by SARA. In joining SARA, HCI College has gone above and beyond for its online students. It will be easier for students to study at HCI College from out-of-state. They will also have their credits and credentials recognized across state lines. Continuing education after HCI College is easier than ever. Students now have a greater ability to move into Bachelor programs and even Doctorate programs when they have completed their time at HCI College.
This is all part of HCI College’s initiative to make learning more flexible. We offer online associate degrees in emergency medical services. Those interested can even get their bachelors degree in nursing. Students can also expect flexibility on campus. Night classes and classes that only require students to attend campus once or twice per week allow students to set their own schedules as needed.
