HCI’s Online Degrees
When you have a busy life and other responsibilities, the thought of getting a college degree may seem out of reach.

AS in EMS
Emergency medical professionals can earn their AS in EMS online. The prerequisite for the online is that the student has a current Paramedic certification. Your education and training as a Paramedic transfers into the degree program.
Then you complete the last 15 credit hours online. General education courses round out your degree. You can take the classes at home, at the library, or at a coffee shop. All you need is a computer and a reliable Internet connection.
RN-to-BSN
Nurses working toward their BSN have the option to take all of their courses online. You can transfer up to 60 credits toward the degree. Online courses allow you the additional flexibility of continuing to work as an RN while you complete your BSN.
HCI maximizes the semester at 9 credit hours. Other colleges require students to take 12 credit hours to be considered full-time students, but we consider 9 credit hours as full time. This allows students to really grasp the material and fit in study time around their busy schedules.
AS in Fire Science
HCI’s AS in Fire Science is also available 100% online. Students should already be certified firefighters in the field to enroll. The courses can be done online at the firehouse or at home, whatever fits your schedule. Advance your career as a firefighter by earning your AS in Fire Science on your own time.
