HCI College is an authorized training center for American Heart Association courses. You have to renew your AHA cards every one to two years.
AHA refresher courses give you up-to-date training on the latest information provided by the AHA. Your card is renewed as well. Stay current on your AHA skills by taking your refresher courses at HCI College.
AHA Courses we Offer
HCI College offers courses on the following AHA skills: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). You can also take specialty AHA skills courses, such as Bloodborne Pathogens, HeartSaver, First Aid, AED training, and AHA instructor courses. These courses meet the latest AHA standards and have flexible course options to suit your schedule.
BLS for Healthcare Providers training covers CPR for all ages, rescue breathing and relief of choking. In the ACLS course, you refresh your skills in managing cardiac and respiratory emergencies. The PALS course provides skills training for working with critically ill babies and children. Once you finish the refresher courses, you have renewed your card.
These courses are important for healthcare providers in a variety of positions. EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters, and Registered Nurses all need to have the skills on their jobs. Signing up for AHA Classes
You can conveniently sign up for your AHA refresher courses by logging into your student portal. All AHA courses may not be available at all of our campuses. In the courses, you will practice on simulated patients with CPR and breathing techniques. Signing up for classes is very easy. The system walks you through the process.
You will get confirmation of the date, time, and location of the class. Sign up for as many of the AHA refresher courses as you need to take. Work them around your current schedule. You can refresh your AHA skills with HCI College every time you need to renew your AHA skills cards. Our instructors have the latest information and the most up-to-date techniques.
