The demand for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Florida continues to grow. HCI College offers an EMT program that prepares you for the licensing exam, and your new career.

Our classes meet the National EMS Standards. The foundational knowledge and hands-on training you receive is how you’ll become an EMT with HCI College.

The EMT Program at HCI College

At HCI College, you will take a combination of theory and lab courses. These classes teach the medical and professional knowledge that you need for your career as an EMT. Learn about basic life-supporting techniques, opening airways, controlling blood flow, treating wounds, and caring for patients with heart attacks, poisoning, or burns. EMT students will get field training, as well. In the field, you get to ride alongside certified EMTs and Paramedics for a real field experience.

You will clock 300 hours for the entire program. This amounts to 12 college credit hours. We have several options for classes that can fit your schedule. Take day or evening classes. The flexibility means that you can keep your current job as you train for your new career.
