CLINCON, Florida’s Premiere EMS Conference is taking place July 8th to July 11th, 2015. For more than 40 years CLINCON has provided the highest quality education to EMS professionals by integrating prehospital care research and cutting edge clinical practice.

CLINCON offers the continuum of emergency medicine professionals, an all-encompassing educational experience that focuses on strengthening practical skills and enhancing clinical knowledge in order to provide the highest-quality of care to their patients.  

Whether you are a healthcare provider, educator, or work in critical care, there are sessions that are directed specifically for you as well as general cessation and keynote presentations.  Below are some of the sessions that are scheduled to occur throughout the conference:

Preconference: Principles of Ethics & Personal Leadership (PEPL) 2-DAY

Tuesday – Wednesday July 7-8, 2015

8:00AM – 5:00PM

Description: This 16-hour course is designed to provide EMS & Mobile Healthcare professionals at all levels with the knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients, their families and other medical personnel.  Throughout this presentation, attendees will learn about the importance of ethics and personal leadership.

Preconference: ITLS Pediatric Course (PITLS)

Wednesday July 8, 2015

8:00AM – 5:00PM

Description: ITLS Pediatric focuses on the special needs of young trauma patients.  You will learn the principles of proper assessment, management, and transport, as well as the proper techniques of communicating with young patients and their families.

Provider: The Street Smart EMT

Thursday July 9, 2015

11:00AM – 12:00PM

Description: Have you ever experienced a call where a patient was found with a substance you couldnt identify? Have you ever found yourself in a potentially dangerous situation and been surprised? Have you ever treated a patient at a crime scene? This program will provide you with ways to handle these and other street-related situations better on your next call.
